Who We Are
Liberty Hydrogen has development plans underway to build an industrial-scale biomass to green ammonia facility in Western Australia for domestic and international sale.
The planned state-of-the-art facility will require large volumes of wood waste to convert pure hydrogen into green ammonia which we have already identified.
Why Green Ammonia
The global production capacity of grey ammonia is expected to expand from around 235 million metric tons in 2019, to nearly 290 million metric tons by 2030.
For companies to meet net-zero targets, ammonia production will need to transition to a low-carbon ‘green’ process.
Our green ammonia facility is targeting a starting capacity of 100,000 tonnes of green ammonia positioning itself as a leader in the burgeoning low-carbon ammonia sector.
Liberty H2 is Australia’s largest producer of densified biomass with plans to meet the global demand for wood pellets to generate renewable energy. Owner of the Albany Wood Pellet Plant which makes world-renowned biomass through a mix of Albany Pine, Jarrah & Marri fibre.
